Peter Stone

Investigative Journalist

Since 1990, Peter H. Stone has covered a wide array of lobbying and campaign finance issues in Washington. At National Journal, where he spent almost 18 years, Stone broke several scoops on the Jack Abramoff influence peddling scandal. In recent years, Stone has written for The Guardian, Huffington Post, Mother Jones, the Sacramento Bee and other publications. Over the years, he has also been a reporter at The Center for Public Integrity, Legal Times and The Hartford Courant.  Stone is the author of Heist, a book about the Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal (which was published in paperback as Casino Jack).
